Lincolnton Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce Event May 2, 2024

Businesses holding an open house is a way to showcase the company, facilities and acts as a live advertisement, increasing awareness of the company and its offerings. It also serves as a networking event, allowing the company to strengthen relationships with existing clients and forge new ones.  The Lincolnton-Lincoln County of Chamber of Commerce held an event at the lovely Remax Real Estate building at 111 E. Main Street in beautiful downtown Lincolnton Thursday, May 2. The building is a historic building in downtown that used to house Lincoln Athletes and Alki Outfitters. Remax bought the building 2 years ago, and remodeled, but left a lot of the brick and openness which adds character to the building. The view from the rooftop was amazing overlooking downtown. Owners and hosts of Remax, Will Poteat and Wayne Brooks, spoke on how the move to downtown had been great for business. There are now 19 realtors. Brooks says, “It has made a huge difference in this location. We get a lot of foot traffic, and the atmosphere of the place is great for repore and building relationships.” Chamber of Commerce members and their families enjoyed food, drink and fellowship as we all got to mingle and meet other Chamber Members for a relaxed time. Thanks, Remax, for a wonderful evening! And thanks, Jennifer Weber, Chamber President, for organizing a great event!
